Young $tella's Biography
Born in Charlotte NC April 24th 1986. He was raised on the west side, as they say "the best side". Young $tella discovered his talent for rapping in the year 2002 while he was 16. From that time until 2005, it was just a hobby to him. Being told numerous times that he should make a CD and give it to people. He took it in consideration, so he did it. After that point in 2005 he had a thing for making music and started taking it serious.
Being on the grind for years waiting for a chance, Young $tella was already on top of his game just from making music for a passion. Therefore, when his city blew up he wouldn't have to worry about "what I'm going do now that my city is on the map". He felt he was ahead of his time just because he will think like "I don't only know how to rap, I know how to make music. There IS a difference".
Being versatile, Young $tella is able to shape his style to make multiple types of music from, club bangers, street music, life, commercial, to just rapping about money. This is all capable of being done with Young $tella without breaking his image. Speaking on his "image", he attracts the hood and the commercial crowd at the same time. "I'm able to attract both crowds because I don't claim to be a thug, gangster, or a D-Boy. I was raised around them all. I just never went in the same direction they chose. So I'm able to make songs for them just because I witnessed it, and then make music for commercial too. Only because I don’t have an, thug, gangster, or D-Boy image to maintain".
Young $tella is a force to be reckoned with. By being 22 years old, it puts him right in between the younger crowd and the older crowd. By being in that place, he learned to nail exactly what the younger and older wants to hear. He has his own swag, voice, and versatile lyrics. To top it off he makes his own beats, designs his own art, wears customized DU-rags with his art on it, wears a lot of New Balance 574 shoes, and builds his own fan base. Those are just a few things that make him a dynamic unsigned artist. As he say, "The Un$igned $tar".
